Cheryl Tsakis has been a resident of the Augusta County — Staunton and Waynesboro area for over twenty years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dowling College and enjoys riding horses, golfing, skiing, antiquing and traveling in her free time. She has served in many volunteer positions, such as being the former President of Waynesboro’s Junior Women’s Club, raising initial construction funds for Hospice House of the Shenandoah, and serving on a Capital Campaign Committee to raise funds for Tabernacle Presbyterian Church’s 20,000 sq. ft. church addition. Cheryl also served as former Executive Director to S.A.W. Habitat for Humanity during the initial construction phase of Staunton, Virginia’s downtown “Johnson Street Project.” This was her life’s most important work besides raising her son’s Cole and Ford.
