  • Zach Koops

Having grown up in Maryland in an 18th century farmhouse my family decided to renovate, I’ve been surrounded by projects as long as I can remember.

There was always something to work on – whether I wanted to or not – so it didn’t take long for me to learn the value in seeing a project through to the end.

From peeling away layers of midcentury wallpaper to resurfacing the wormy oak floors, I was hooked on the reward of seeing my hard work restore beauty and purpose where it had decayed or been forgotten.

Consequently, I developed the skill to see potential where it is often overlooked – in houses, yes, but also in people.

As a career Realtor in Harrisonburg, it’s a welcomed challenge to help my clients identify their full potential so they can invest not only in a quality home, but a quality future.

  • Matt Ogden

Matt has made his home in the Harrisonburg area for over 20 years and is a double-Duke (’96, ’02M). With nearly 20 years hospitality experience and over a dozen years in finance and sales roles prior to joining The Harrisonburg Homes Team, Matt brings a unique perspective on professionally servicing client’s needs and goals. Matt is also a self-proclaimed “numbers guy” and enjoys looking into the detailed analysis of the local market and individual transactions. Outside of the office, you may find Matt gardening with his children, teaching them to fish, or sneaking in a round of golf (once the lawn is mowed, of course).

  • Katie Moomaw

Katie is a Harrisonburg native, spending nearly her entire life in the Shenandoah Valley. Katie graduated from James Madison University in 2007 and began her professional journey with VBS Mortgage, a local lending institution, working as the Secondary Market Mortgage Manager. After a trek to Charlotte, NC, Katie was recruited by The Harrisonburg Homes Team and happily relocated back to her roots in Harrisonburg. With her expanded network in the area, a fierce attention to detail and comprehensive mortgage background, she provides a personal approach to each real estate transaction. In addition to helping clients, you can find Katie kayaking, crafting and spending time with her fiancé, Franklin, her family, friends and two four-legged fur babies.

  • Peyton Miller

Originally from Richmond, Peyton relocated to Harrisonburg in 2001 when she got married. She has lived in the Town of Bridgewater since 2006 and has a passion for promoting community involvement and collaboration within her town. After receiving her Masters in Education from James Madison University in 2009; investing her energy on her family and friends by leading mom’s groups, church groups, and running a variety of children’s programs at Covenant Presbyterian Church; and teaching Literature at Redeemer Classical School, Peyton decided to jump into the world of real estate. Having fallen in love with her home and community, Peyton now helps others find the same thing. She enjoys walking alongside individuals and families as they make the significant decision to purchase or sell a home. She handles all of the details and proactively tackles any obstacles, so that her clients are able to focus on the joys of finding a home and community of their own. When she is not working, Peyton enjoys reading, backpacking, and watching soccer.

  • Claire Wayman

Claire grew up near Rochester, New York, and relocated to Harrisonburg in early 2014. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History and Museum Studies in 2013 at Juniata College in central Pennsylvania. Claire manages details of real estate contracts, coordinates social media and the Wilson Downtown Gallery, and keeps the team organized on a day-to-day basis. In her free time, she enjoys playing flute in various area groups and participating in local community theater.
